Ranthambore is famous for its National park. Ranthambore National Park, which is one of the premium tiger reserves in the country. Park's deserted fortress, lakes and above all its “gracious” tigers have made it one of the most filmed wildlife reserves in the world. Ranthambore was decalred a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and became part of Project Tiger in 1973. It is located in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about about 130 km from Jaipur.

Ranthambore National Park - The Park lies at the edge of a plateau, and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. It is named for the historic Ranthambore fortress, which lies within the national park.
Bakaula - The Bakaula area is an area dotted with little water holes and thick foliage. You’ll get a shivering environment here. Even in peak summers it feels like an air-conditioned room.
